Dr. Amjad Abbas Khan Magsi

Professor Dr. Amjad Abbas Khan Magsi is currently serving as Director, Pakistan Study Centre, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is also associated with various Chinese universities and research centres as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow and Visiting Faculty member.
The Centre hosts the Belt and Road Institute of Sichuan University and Jiangsu Normal University, China, established at the University of the Punjab in 2019 and 2017, respectively. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Vision, an HEC-recognised journal.
Dr. Magsi earned his PhD in Pakistan Studies from the University of the Punjab. He completed his Master's degree in History from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and graduated from Government College University, Lahore.
Dr. Magsi has been teaching Government and Politics, Pakistan Studies, and Pakistan's foreign relations at doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate levels. He is a member of the Boards of Studies of various universities and has numerous publications in recognised journals. He is regularly invited by national electronic and print media as an analyst on issues related to Pakistan.
