Refund & Return Policy

Overview

This policy applies to publications and other digital products purchased from the Global Peace Strategy Forum ("GPSF", "we", "us") on gpsforum.org. All of our products are digital. Please read this policy before you buy, because by completing a purchase you agree to it.

Returns

We do not sell physical goods, so there is nothing to send back. A digital publication cannot be returned once it has been made available to you.

All Sales Are Final

Because a digital publication can be read and kept as soon as access is given, all sales are final once access has been granted to you or a download has started. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, for buying a publication by mistake, or because a publication did not meet your expectations. Please read the description and preview on the publication page before you buy.

When We Will Refund

We will refund a payment only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same order. We refund the extra payment.
  • Access not delivered: your payment was received but we were unable to give you access to the publication within 7 days of you contacting us about it.
  • Payment taken in error: money was taken from your account but the order was not completed, and we cannot complete it.

If a file is damaged or does not open, please contact us first. We will fix the problem or give you access again, which is our first remedy before any refund.

Wrong Email Address

Access is sent to the email address you enter at checkout. If you entered it incorrectly, contact us with your order number and proof of payment and we will give access to the correct address. This is not grounds for a refund.

How to Request a Refund

Email connect@gpsforum.org within 14 days of your payment. Please include:

  • your order number;
  • the name and email address used for the order;
  • the date and amount of the payment; and
  • the reason for your request.

We aim to reply within 3 working days. Requests received after 14 days, or that do not fall under "When We Will Refund", will not be accepted.

How Refunds Are Paid

  • An approved refund is returned to the original payment method only: to the same card for card payments, or to the account the transfer came from for bank transfers.
  • We refund the amount we received for the order. Charges made by your bank or card issuer, currency conversion differences, and fees for international transfers are not refunded by GPSF.
  • Card refunds are processed through our payment provider. Once we have approved a refund, it may take your bank 7 to 14 working days or more to show it on your statement.
  • When a refund is made, access to the publication for that order is withdrawn.

Payment Disputes

If there is a problem with your payment, please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank, so we can resolve it quickly. While a dispute is open, access to the publication for that order may be suspended.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force when you made your purchase applies to that purchase.
