Ambassador Fauzia Nasreen is a distinguished Pakistani diplomat, academic, and policy expert with extensive experience in foreign affairs, strategic studies, governance, and public policy. She joined the Diplomatic Service of Pakistan in 1973.

During her diplomatic career, she served in Iran, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Italy. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she held key positions including Director for Iran, Iraq and Türkiye, Director General Europe, and Additional Secretary Europe.

She served as Pakistan's Ambassador to Nepal and Poland (with concurrent accreditation to the Czech Republic) and as High Commissioner to Australia (with concurrent accreditation to Fiji). She was conferred an award by the Government of Poland for her contribution to strengthening Pakistan-Poland relations.

Ambassador Nasreen holds Master's degrees in English Literature and Defence and Strategic Studies, along with an M.Phil. in International Relations. She attended the Visiting Fellowship Programme at Oxford University and the 2015 Colloquium at Harvard University.

She has served as Member Directing Staff at the National Defence College, Director General of the Foreign Service Academy, Head of the Centre for Policy Studies at COMSATS University, and Visiting Faculty at NDU, Fatima Jinnah Women University, and NUML.
