Dr. Saima Kazmi is an Assistant Professor of Advertising at the School of Journalism and Communication, University of Oregon, USA. Her research engages critical areas of contemporary communication, including consumer psychology, green advertising, climate activism, recycling initiatives, AI ethics, influencer marketing, and consumer responses to organizational sustainability practices. She teaches courses on media literacy, consumer psychology, advertising and culture, and brands and sustainability.

Dr. Kazmi earned her Ph.D. in Media Research and Practice from the University of Colorado Boulder and brings over a decade of international experience in digital advertising and marketing. Her scholarly profile includes published research, co-edited volumes, active participation in leading academic conferences, and a strong commitment to mentorship, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
