Air Vice Marshal Sarfraz Khan (Retd) is a distinguished strategic thinker, combat aviator, and senior military leader with over three and a half decades of experience in operational command, national security, strategic planning, and defense diplomacy.
Commissioned in the GD(P) Branch of the PAF as a fighter pilot in 1987, AVM Khan served with distinction across a wide range of professional assignments. His command appointments included Commanding Officer of a Fighter Squadron, Commander of a Fighter Flying Wing, and Base Commander, PAF Base Mushaf.
He holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies and has pursued advanced professional education at leading institutions including Harvard University, the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Canada's National Security Program, the German General Staff Course, and the National Security Workshop at the National Defence University.
